“We loved the isolation and to be able to disconnect from our busy lives. It was very quiet and peaceful. You don’t notice your neighbors and everyone is very respectful of each other. The views of Mt. Adams were awesome. We explored the area and did some hikes. We cooked breakfast and dinner over the fire every day and enjoyed s’mores every night. “Building is from the 1930s with updated and very clean rooms. Great bedding. Staff is helpful and professional. Very nice rear yard for outside activities. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.”

“Interesting experience. There is no on-site staff, but the building is in excellent (restored) condition. You let yourself in with the door code and then you’re on your own. The on-site restaurant is not operating, so we drove a couple miles for dinner. We made breakfast from what was on site. Thankfully there was no noise from the railroad outside. We’ll be back.”

“I absolutely loved my stay there. I checked in after hours so was kind of hard to figure out where to go and what room was mine when i got there. I left a message before closing tine with no answer back. I also called the other phine number listed with no answer. I still loved my stay and wouls absolutely stay again.”

“No heat furnace filters were TOTALLY impacted with dust —no healthyNo GFI outlets by sinksVery poor lighting to go down to the entrance also obstructions in the pathway (irritation lines were laying above ground on the pathway) this could be an okay rental but not in its current condition ”

“Property was clean, well maintained and hosts were available without being at all intrusive. Wonderfully located on the river with a beautiful deck, this was a perfect peaceful getaway. There is nothing to do here except relax, enjoy the river/deck and rest, which is exactly why we were there. Strong internet connection was a plus. Access to the river was available and if you're into fishing/floating the river, this location is perfect for that.”

“We were there for a wedding in hood river. This was a perfect location to stay as we wanted a little peace and quiet after the hustle and bustle of the wedding. The town has some great bars and restaurants which made it good for not having to traverse the bridge to hood river too often. We will stay again if in the area ”

“We felt like we’d found a secret treasure - this new apartment has the most amazing view of Mt. Hood and beyond that it’s perfectly designed and outfitted with modern amenities and everything you need for a comfortable, stress-free stay. Free parking under the building was a plus. Hosts are extremely helpful with quick and thorough communication. Highly recommend. Did I mention the view?!?! ”

“This was the second time we’ve stayed here. We love it. The kitchen is stocked with a ton of coffee and tea choices. And plenty of spices in the cabinet for cooking. We saw several deer and even 2 babies came in the back yard. The only complaint, maybe, would be the mattresses aren’t the most comfortable. Love that there’s and EV charger too.We’ll stay here every time we’re in the area. ”
